March 2022 Highlights
How is it April already? Time flies! Here’s a recap of some of the amazing projects that kept us busy in March…
We produced a film for California Wines to celebrate the first ever record of Californian producers whose ‘quality, availability and impact’ have left a lasting impression in the UK.
Called The California List, it was determined by a panel of experts: Jancis Robinson MW, Mark Andrew MW, Sarah Knowles MW, Ronan Sayburn MS and Stephen Brook. More than 200 producers were considered, but, after a detailed process of evaluation culminating in a (lively) Zoom discussion, just 51 were approved for inclusion.
Robinson said that she could not recall “any other time in London to try so many iconic Californian wines.” However, she added that the list showcases the reputation and performance of the producers, rather than the individual wines themselves.
We shot this in 8K on the RED Raptor over two days at Holborn Studios, as well as attending the event. We even had the opportunity to sample some of the wines ourselves – for research purposes, of course!
Harper's Bazaar: International Women’s Day
This prestigious event brought together some incredible women from the fields of film, fashion, business and technology, with a focus on how these women are finding creative solutions to change society for the better.
This was the fourth annual celebration for Harper’s Bazaar, hosted at the Connaught in London, in partnership with Clé de Peau Beauté, Veuve Clicquot and YPO.
The speaker line-up included Ruth Wilson discussing her remarkable acting career and the importance of telling female-centered stories and Anya Hindmarch discussing how emotion, creativity, community and sustainability converge in her business strategy. This was followed by a thought-provoking panel talk featuring mathematician Anne-Marie Imafidon, entrepreneur Mursal Hedayat and artist, financier and entrepreneur Roksana Ciurysek-Gedir, all discussing how they are harnessing the power of art, science and technology to bring about social change.
Many thanks to Harper’s Bazaar, all the event sponsors, and the fantastic speakers.
Times+ in conversation with Patrick Foster
We filmed senior sports writer Matt Dickinson in conversation with Patrick Foster, Kenyan-born English former first-class cricketer. In a compelling discussion, Patrick spoked about his recovery from gambling addiction and his current charity work.
Men’s Health & Women’s Health
We streamed some intense one hour group fitness sessions with Men’s Health and Women’s Health, sponsored by Lindahls. We were pretty exhausted just watching from the sidelines!
Many thanks to Hearst Live, Men’s Health, Women’s Health and Lindahls for having us.
