Founded by friends
In 2011, three lifelong friends decided to turn their passion for film into a media business – and Rise Media was born.
As company directors, we still take a hands-on approach to every project, heading up our in-house team of directors, producers, camera operators, animators and editors. You’ll find us doing what we love, getting stuck in on set or in the editing suite.

The Rise Guys is our in-house directing offering, comprised of the three founders of Rise Media: Mark Lunt, Dan Morbin and Mike Lienard.
Mark’s directing resume includes prominent clients such as O2, RayBan, The Times and Victorinox and Women’s Health. Mark has a fantastic knowledge of the filmmaking world and keeps a finger on the pulse of popular content and innovative techniques. He has expertise in all areas of production, with a particular focus on post-production. You’ll find him offering forward-thinking insights whilst shooting, always keeping the final edit in mind.
With projects for Bose, YouTube, Tui and Logitech under his belt, Dan has a wealth of experience in directing content for global brands. Last year his series of films for St John Ambulance won awards. His particular talent for narrative, storyboarding and comedy allows him to think outside the box, crafting fresh ideas from the most minimal briefs. Dan also brings experience in Live Stream direction and Show Calling to the table. He directed major live streams last year for London Fashion Week, News UK and TikTok.
Mike has directed fashion films and editorial content for major publications such as Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue and Esquire. Mike’s passion for cinematography, specifically gimbal work, has led him to work with the UK’s leading property developers and architects including Berkeley Homes, Barratt Homes, St George and Fabrica. He currently heads up the Spaces offering at Rise Media, delivering high-quality real estate marketing films. Mike is a skilled communicator, allowing him to bring out the very best in talent on-set, including globally renowned models, actors and athletes.

Where we work
We’re based in Sutton, South London, in the Oru Space. Come and say hi, and feel free to bring your dog along – we do!
Our projects regularly take us around the world, filming on location for global brands. You’ll also find us working with our clients in London, or travelling across the UK (we love an adventure). You might even bump into us at the top of Snowdon!
We created this short ad for Logitech to promote their new product: The Logi Bolt. We work with True Agency to create a funny, relatable ad that showcases the product’s connectivity problem-busting capabilities.
Hoo asked us to create a light-hearted promotional piece to coincide with the launch of their brand. The location they chose to promote was Great Yarmouth – here's how we made it look good.
West Ham Women Partnership
EZRA needed a video to advertise their exciting new partnership with West Ham United Women’s football team. The topline brief was to create an engaging film, showcasing the similarities between professional coaching in the workplace and coaching in sport.
