The Brief
News UK approached us to produce this fun brand partnership content, bringing together The Sun and TUI.
The video needed to showcase The Sun’s top cost saving tips, while showcasing TUI’s low cost family holidays.
Our talent was Lisa Minot, Travel Editor at The Sun, who shared her tips and tricks for saving money.
Production
We had a full day shoot on location at Camber Sands in a lovely AirBnb. We had planned out how to film each tip in a different room, with Dom working on a bespoke lighting set up plan for each area during a previous recce.
Although we had hoped for sunny weather, on the day the heavens opened and we had to contend with torrential rain. This meant several trips for the whole team up and down the beach trying to make the most of dry moments, while also attempting to keep expensive kit out of the rain!
We also had to sacrifice five piggy banks for the greater good, but eventually we got the perfect slow mo smashing shot… which was actually the 1st take!
We filmed the slow mo shots on the RED Raptor and used our in-house RED Gemini to capture the pieces to camera with Lisa.
Rise are fantastic and always delivered in spades for our video team at News UK. They are our go to production company and never let us down.
