Priya Ahluwalia Collaboration

The Brief

We were commissioned to capture Pandora’s latest collaboration with designer Priya Ahluwalia – a collection that brings her distinctive style to engravable jewellery. The brief was to produce a hero film, a suite of social assets, and an in-store video loop to spotlight the creative process behind the partnership.

The film needed to show the engraving process in action at Pandora’s Oxford Street flagship store, as well as delving into Priya’s creative world – capturing both the craft and personal story behind her hand-drawn designs.

Creative & Production

Filming took place across a single day with a small crew of five. We began at the Oxford Street flagship, where we captured Priya interacting with the engraving machine and exploring the collection. We used a fairly minimal lighting setup due to time constraints in-store, opting for large soft domes to create a clean, natural look that complemented the bright retail space.

All digital footage was shot on the Sony FX6 using premium Tribe 7 Blackwing lenses, with the interview captured using a two-camera setup.

After wrapping in-store, we headed onto Oxford Street to shoot additional fashion-led content on 16mm, using a Canon Scoopic for a textured, analogue feel.

We then walked with Priya to her nearby Soho studio, where we shot an interview exploring her process – from initial sketches to the finished pieces. Her studio, filled with tools, materials and reference imagery, gave us the perfect backdrop to visually connect her creative environment with the final product.

Despite the run-and-gun nature of the shoot, we made use of carefully chosen lenses and soft lighting to maintain a polished, cinematic look throughout.

Post Production

The edit was handled in-house at Rise Media. We weaved together moments from the flagship store, the streets of Soho and Priya’s studio to create a film that feels both intimate and aspirational.

Alongside the main film, we delivered a suite of social edits tailored for different platforms, plus a store-loop version designed for in-store playback across Pandora locations.
